Luke 11:21 says: "When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe." Every Scripture, must be understood in balance, using common sense. Not to confuse philosophies, but the Eastern concept of Yin and Yang (symbolizing ALL eternal opposites)is a true and basic universal Law. For example, Yin-Yang keeps a bicycle standing upright and moving forward: the pedal being pushed down is Yang and the yielding pedal is Yin. Then the pedals reverse positions and functions. Simplified, Yin and Yang mean that you cannot have one power without its very opposite to maintain perfect balance in this Universe --a law of the Creator.
Common sense tells us that a true neighbor is someone who has a perfect right to occupy that status and position. Jesus is not saying, for example, that the local church building and property should be juxtaposed with a house of ill repute, an organized-crime gambling casino, the Playboy mansion, and an "adult entertainment" center; nor is He saying that we are to allow illegal aliens into our nations and homes to invade, occupy, and rule us.
The Children of Israel, to whom the command "Love thy neighbor as thyself" was given, were also ordered to make total war on their enemies as they entered and conquered the Land of Promise for themselves and their posterity.
While someone is engaging in sin, the righteous have a right to rebuke this, and, if necessary, take measures to protect themselves from harm. Yes, by all means, do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Do I want others to enter my home and seize possession of it and throw me and my loved ones out into the cold? NO! Do I want others to steal from me and take unfair advantage of me or those I love? NO! In the same common sense manner, I would not do these things to others.
Some years ago, the Hollywood Jews made a silly movie about the Roman Catholic Church (sorry I cannot recall the name--I only saw the concluding minutes of it). At the end, the Pope tells the world that the Vatican will sell ALL its buildings and priceless works of art and give ALL its possessions to "the poor" of all the world. Well, I do not recall the Vatican being persuaded by this cheap-shot movie to do just that.
It is un-Christian to have a "War on Poverty." Jesus tells us that there will always be poor among the population of this world. To try to make everyone well-off is to disbelieve the words of Jesus.
The Bible emphasizes doing good to the poor of one's OWN people, with words like "your brother," "your needy," and the "poor in YOUR land." "For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, 'You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.'" Deuteronomy 15:11"For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you wish you can do good to them; but you do not always have Me." -- Mark 14:7"You will always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me with you." -- Matthew 26:11
"Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer" 1 John 3:15 So you cannot hate blacks and call yourself a Christian!
ReplyDeleteDo Muslims love us?
ReplyDeleteWe do not hate Blacks.
ReplyDeleteI simply believe that racial differences matter and that it is a sin to commit race-suicide.
This morning I had breakfast out at a local restaurant. A young white family of four were there having breakfast as well, and their two young children, a girl and a boy, had stunningly beautiful faces -- almost angelic.
(I'm sorry to offend, but the children of other races may be generally "cute" in their own way, but I never find them strikingly beautiful -- let alone angel-like. The great artists through the ages have found white children's fresh faces suggestive of angels.)
It is a great tragedy that these two children must grow up in a society whose culture and racial program are aimed at their extinction. These two are already a minority in their own land.
Jesus actually told a rich man to SELL all his belongings and GIVE them to the poor. 'For it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven' Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:24-25 and Luke 18:24-25 Jesus does not approve of wealth and however you choose to interpret the bible you will not find a way of proving that.
ReplyDeleteJesus does not approve of the worship of wealth. Many people who acquire wealth lose their faith in God. It is not the wealth per se but the making a god of it that Jesus disapproves of.
ReplyDeleteScholars inform us that the "eye of a needle" is an expression used in Bible times to refer to a tunnel-gateway beneath the walls surrounding a city (probably Jerusalem) that camels could pass through only with great difficulty.
If you can't accept what the bible teaches without having to interpret it to mean something else then find a different religion that is more convenient to your situation. If your rich and cant except Jesus commandment to give your money away to the poor than you are no christian. Following the same logic you could interpret Leviticus 18:22 to mean that God USED to disapprove of gays. Your not a christian, you are someone looking for justification of your lifestyle, but you should keep looking because the bible isn't up to the task.
ReplyDeleteExactly where in the bible does it say that Jesus does not approve of the 'worship of wealth'. That is your own personal incorrect interpretation. It is pretty clear what is said because THREE different writers have quoted him word for word. You need to come out of denial and realise that you are in fact... wrong.
ReplyDelete"Exactly where in the bible does it say that Jesus does not approve of the 'worship of wealth'?"
ReplyDeleteHERE: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3
Wealth worshiped becomes a god.
"Jesus actually told a rich man to SELL all his belongings and GIVE them to the poor."
Yes, but this is a particular instance, given to this particular man. Where does Scripture make this command universal and to all men?
"If your rich and cant except Jesus commandment to give your money away to the poor than you are no Christian."
I am quite poor and not rich and I live a very modest lifestyle.
Here in the Bible in two places, Old Testament and New, it says that it is OK to be rich:
"If riches increase, set NOT your heart upon them" (Psalm 62:10)."
"Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the Living God, Who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 that they do Good, that they be rich in Good Works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 laying up in store for themselves a Good Foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on Eternal Life" (1Timothy 6:17-19).
What do I want, personally?
I want neither poverty nor riches. I desire only what I need to get by.
Furthermore, I agree with you if you are saying that the TV prosperity gospel preachers are preaching perversion and not the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
April 13 3:18, Here is your answer:
ReplyDelete24 "The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 "It is easier for a camel to go through the "eye of a needle" (a narrow undergound gate) than for THOSE WHO TRUST IN RICHES to enter the kingdom of God."
26The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, "Who then can be saved?"
27Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."
Also, my friend, I am very very far from being a rich man.
Again, Luke 18:27 reads:
27 'Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."'
ALSO, your question: "Exactly where in the bible does it say that Jesus does not approve of the 'worship of wealth'?"
Here: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3 [Worshiping wealth makes it a god.]
And last of all, God blessed many men in Scriptures with wealth, begining with Abraham and including Job. The list is too numerous to quote here.
For me, here is my personal desire in the matter: From Proverbs Chapter 30:
"8Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread."
Paddy Kelly, a famous musician in the Kelly Family in Germany, because of his love for Jesus Christ, gave up his successful career and his wealth and became a monk in a monastery in France.
ReplyDeleteIn the Catholic faith, a Saint is comparable to a "holy man" in Buddhism; in these cases, yes, there is a vow of poverty. In Catholicism, a "Saint" is a person who has achieved a very high degree of holiness and works miracles.
Paddy Kelly lost his mother at the age of five. He loves his family and desires to be reunited with them in the Life to come. This is why he became a monk.

Jesus may call certain persons to this kind of life. I do not quarrel over differences among traditional honest Christians (not Judeo-Christianity, which is a false modern religion).
"(not Judeo-Christianity, which is a false modern religion)."
ReplyDeleteIt is only a false religion because of your hatred of Jewish people. That is the only reason. You think all Jews are the devil!
No you do not hate blacks. Your group just hung them from trees because they wanted civil rights. They murder them for whistling at white women. They killed 3 kids in Mississippi for trying to help blacks to vote. No the Klan is loving Christian group right? No they follow Satan the king of lies.
ReplyDeleteADL Member,
ReplyDeleteYou really have such facile answers!
"Judeo-Christianity" is a relatively modern term. Christians of the past did not label themselves in this manner. So it suggests a new Christian cult.
I do admit that I HATE liberals -- that is, the extreme ones who are destroying Western Civilization.
A majority of Jews are in full support of this extreme liberalism.
The tiny number of Jews who are not are not, I do not hate.
I have spoken to one Orthodox Jew who told me that miscegenation is genocide and that he was not opposed to peaceful White Nationalism. Furthermore, Benjamin Freedman was apparently a Christian Jew who was concerned about White Christian Americans. Felix Mendelssohn was a half-Jew who vigorously promoted the music of J.S. Bach and was a Christian.
If you think that only the Klan has problems with Jews, then look at this Jew who is now of the Russian Orthodox Faith:
http://www.realjewnews.com/
I do not hate him.
Again, I HATE LIBERALISM and anti-CHRISTIANITY only.
Today I saw, for the first time, a Black Muslim walk down my street in my little home town! He does not belong here. I am angry.
The ADL is asinine. All religions cannot be equally true for all people.
My rule is and has always been that of Rudyard Kipling: Each faith is not without merit IN ITS OWN COUNTRY.
The anti-White and anti-Christian Jews want thoroughly to mix all races and religions and confuse morals so that they can rise to the top positions in society (which unnatural enforced Jew-induced mixing has weakened and made effete) and rule. Why should I not hate them for this agenda?
I hate Ted Kennedy as much as any Jew, for all the evil he has brought on his on people. In fact, I hate him more than any Jew.
By their fruits ye shall know them.
If Christianity is true, then Islam and Judaism cannot be true religions.
When was the last time the ADL used its influence to make converts to the Jewish faith of Gentiles, ADL Member? If their religion is true for all God's children, why are they not proselytizing for it?
I want Jews to have their own country and rule it only and, Amish-like, keep out of our nations and our world. The same with Islamists.
When these peoples live where they belong, I will not hate them.
"Your needy and poor in your land" What help do you guys give to poor blacks in your land?
ReplyDelete"It is only a false religion because of your hatred of Jewish people. That is the only reason. You think all Jews are the devil!"
ReplyDeleteHow silly! How naïve!
Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all quote many of the same scriptures. All arrive at different and contradictory conclusions concerning the person of Jesus Christ.
They could all three be wrong, but only ONE of them could be the true religion. If I am a Christian, I must conclude that the other two religions are false religions!
To the person who condemns wealth. You are making foolish arguments. It is not money or wealth that is condemned by Christ. It is the LOVE of money and wealth that is evil.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is the poor cannot help the poor, only the rich can help the poor.
Because I am rich I am able to help to a great degree. I am able to support charities, the church and mission programs. Things I could never do if I were poor or even average. Does this make me a better Christian - of course not - but it does mean God expect more out of me than he does you who probably has talent but perhaps wasted it.
Or it may be that God didn't give you wealth because he knew you couldn't be trusted with it - the temptation of riches would be too powerful for you to resist.
Or maybe he didn't give you wealth becasue you would horde it like the rich man in the Bible and loose your soul.
The reason doesn't matter. Does not having wealth make you a better Christian than those who do - of course not. It is not your modest income that makes you righteous, but only the blood of Jesus that was willingly given for your sins.
Thereis no wickedness in poverty. There is not wickedness in being average and there is no wickedness in wealth. Wickedness is in the heart of man.
Do not judge others my friend, regardless of their station in life but only glory in the cross of Jesus Christ.
Actually I never said I hated wealth. I also never said I was a Christian!! I was merely making an observation. JESUS said to sell everything you own and give your money to the poor. Again I assert that your interpretation is wrong and you are simply looking for a justification for your lifestyle, choosing christianity because you think that it gives you some kind of moral authority and an objective view of right and wrong. You are rich, which means regardless of whether you worship your money or not, you will not be able to enter heaven. So there! ha. And as far as 'wasted talent' is concerned. Im only young, i attend the oldest university in the world, and will probably one day be far richer than you or even be your boss! So be careful what you say or il fire you.
ReplyDeleteYou say that "You are rich, which means regardless of whether you worship your money or not, you will not be able to enter heaven."
ReplyDeleteBut you also say, "... i attend the oldest university in the world, and will probably one day be far richer than you or even be your boss!" Doesn't that mean that YOU will then be barred from Heaven? According to YOUR "logic" then, the only person who can enter Heaven is some flat-broke, jobless person who sleeps under a bridge!
Well actually thats not what I said. I never said anything really. I was telling you what Jesus actually said and what you have misinterpretted. Jesus never said anything about being 'jobless' or living under a bridge. He actually said that the poor will enter heaven, the meek will inherit the earth blah blah blah. He never said anything about how rich people who dont worship their money will stand the same chance etc. etc. If you are a Christian and you have more than you need to live a humble and meek life than you are dissobeying your saviours wishes. Which is why capitalism is not a Christian ideology. Communism on the other hand is far more in line with your beliefs, you work hard, look after the poor and everyone has exactly what they need to live. Anything that you obtain that you dont need, you should give away because many people in the world are starving and they need it more than you. Im not saying its what i believe, im saying its what YOU believe, you've merely forgotten about it. You are no Christian, you pick and mix from the bible in order to justify your lifestyle. If Christianity is right, then your going straight to hell. Again... So there! Deal with it, change your ways and stop living in denial.
ReplyDeleteIt is not only our extinction but the extinction of the world. How is the world going to survive without white people? It cannot it will be like the stone age.
ReplyDeleteAnon. 6:31 pm-- Modern Communism is anti-religion. Yes the Apostles did practice these things but how long did that last? Obviously not too long. It is normal for people to want possessions and privacy. As for the going to Hell thing then you do not believe in the forgiveness of Christ.
ReplyDeleteIt is also 'normal' for people to want to have sex before marriage, it doesnt make it Christian. Just because people want to have posessions doesn't mean they should. That is not how civilisation works, if you could just do what you wanted all the time then what would be the point in having law and order? Stop living in denial and get over it. Plus for the last time....... I never said I did believe in Christ. You say you do... but you dont properly understand your own religion.
ReplyDelete"It is also 'normal' for people to want to have sex before marriage, it doesnt make it Christian."
ReplyDeleteI also love the argument that gays are "born that way". Even if they were it still comdemns homosexual acts. You are to refrain from doing so.
