Can You Begin to Understand?

Many of the anti comments I get on this blog are so foolish that I am happy to post them because they help reveal a lack of critical thinking.

Usually they are made to engage me in a verbal debate with them which I really do not have time for. I have no inner need to prove them wrong or prove I am right.

Often the comments revolve around an assumption that I, or we, hate Black people and other minorities. They assume that we do not believe minorities should be treated fairly or that they have any value.

Even simple comments we make regarding our desire to preserve our white heritage and culture is twisted to mean that we are promoting hatred for minorities. I seldom respond to such foolishness.

I know there are some people who hate blacks and other minorities. However, I think I can speak for the vast majority of White Nationalists when I say I have no hatred for someone simply because they are not white. And I have no objection to blacks, Asians etc. who embrace a love for their history, culture etc. I am only opposed to the hypocrisy of those who applaud minorities for embracing pride in their race, but demonize whites for embracing love for their people.

I received the following question via the comment section on this blog and in as much as it appears to be sincere without malice I thought I would offer a brief response.

I want to add that this is only going to be a very brief response. I have decided that I will answer this question in length in a sermon that I will deliver on February 7th from the Christian Revival Center. So if this person was sincere I suggest they watch the Sunday morning church service from the Christian Revival Center at 11 AM central time by going to http://www.christianrevivalcenter.net/.

The question is. . .
How can I as a white man be proud of something I didn't do? God could just as easily have made me black. I’m lucky to be white. Should I be proud I'm lucky? I really want to know, Pastor Robb.

This is a good and fair question coming from someone who appears to be wanting an honest approach and answer to the question.

In short I want to point out that if people are made to feel ashamed of their history they are not apt to defend it.

We, as a people, have been victimized into believing that we, as a race, have a sordid past that is shameful and hateful.

I will deal more on this in my sermon on February 7th. I have several statements from college students which will attest to this from several different books and magazines.

White people have been taught that it is wrong to have collective pride in their race, yet at the same time they are manipulated into believing that they ARE to have collective guilt for the ex aerated shameful history of their people.

In other words genetic inherited pride is bad, but genetic inherited guilt is good.

This has weakened our resolve and have raised up people who only know the bad things for which our race is guilty, but no knowledge of the good.

Even outright lies have been accepted as truth by a populace who no longer knows its history. It appears to be a fulfillment of George Orwell’s book - Nineteen Eighty-Four.

We all know what we think about someone who squanders an inheritance. Likewise our people have received a marvelous inheritance, yet because we look with shame at the lives of our forefathers our inheritance is lost.

Any way, if you are really interested watch the February 7th church program broadcast live at
http://www.christianrevivalcenter.net/ at 11 AM central time.

  2. "What culture do want to promote and why does it need to be exclusive?"

That this question should have to be asked at all is a clear sign of just how much this country has slipped away from its foundation. If "Anonymous" does not know what Western Civilization is, I really wouldn't bother to explain.

The second part of the question is symptomatic of our times. People have lost the understanding of natural order and hierarchy. This is because of Rawls' book on liberal political philosophy that begins with the assumption that a liberal society is set up with a "veil of ignorance" concerning any kind of personal identity of citizens.

In order for life to have natural meaning, there must be order and a natural hierarchy. The musical scale is a perfect example of this.

In order to have melody and harmony, every note in the musical scale is UNEQUAL. Certain notes are preferred over others and there exists a tonal hierarchy.
Were all the notes equal, you will have no meaningful music at all.

Inclusion means that everybody is equal and the same, and such an idea, "equality," though it sounds good to many people, really leads to chaos and confusion.

Life is extremely harsh. If you want a civilization, some people must be preferred over others. For example, not everyone who joins the military gets to be a fighter pilot. Some have to be mechanics, others cooks, etc.

God knows that many things I wanted to accomplish when I was a child have not, and never will, come true. There just is not time nor resources. That's Life!

Cultures and institutions must be exclusive because that is in the very nature of existence. I myself have been excluded hundreds of times from things I wanted to take part in. Did I like it? No. Did it hurt? Yes. But such is life.

If a race and its civilization are to exist, everything alien to its nature must be excluded. That is the very meaning of race and civilization. The fact that the average person cannot understand this simple fact reveals a profound confusion of values in our time.

  4. Well said, Adeimantus.

I would like to add a quote from a columnist (who happens to be black):

“What 'multiculturalism' boils down to is that you can praise any culture in the world except Western culture - and you cannot blame any culture in the world except Western culture.” - Thomas Sowell

I personally began as a multi-culturalist. I studied foreign languages and traveled the world. I have seen some awesome things, met some great people (yes, non-white people). Now I have a greater appreciation for my own culture, which was primarily Southern, Christian, and white. I do not like to see anything that significantly alters that culture, just like I did not want my presence to significantly alter the cultures of the countries I visited. I had tremendous respect for them. So when I see my own culture being ridiculed, or shown contempt, it makes me upset.

  5. Pastor Robb I am honored you addressed my question of pride and sad that I missed the sermon (will the video be made available later?).

You said "We, as a people, have been victimized into believing that we, as a race, have a sordid past that is shameful and hateful."

I see this happening sometimes but I don't think it's something happening to everybody all the time. White folks have done a lot of good but we sure ain't perfect. And we have to be reminded of where we failed so that we get better. We are on the winning team of history and have been for hundreds of years. We're like the New York Yankees - we win so much, people get tired of us winning. But we lose big, too. Slavery we failed big. The old KKK failed big, too. My pa saw lynchings in Mississippi. White folks have a lot to be proud of but at the same time we do have things to be ashamed of, we can't ever forget what we done wrong. I'm glad you're a man of God trying to do good things for white folks but we can't act like we're the best. We done the best but boy we done the worst, too.

The thing about having pride is pride makes a man walk tall and quiet because everybody knows he's the big man. The big man don't need to say how much pride he has. If people don't seem to be talking about how great it is to be white, maybe because everybody knows it and talking about it just seems rude. Once you say you're the big man, you become small. James 4:10 "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he shall exalt you."

Adeimantus, I don't know what you want to say about hierarchy, but I'm a guitar picker and I'll tell you that the major 7th interval is a ugly sound but you put a major 3rd and perfect 5th under it and it's the prettiest thing you ever heard. It's not about who's on top, it's about how the notes blend. Notes don't mean nothing until you mix and match them. It's about balancing the tensions.

That'd be a good lesson for everybody in the world. :)
