National Guard troops on our border is a good start, but what we need in U. S. Soldiers! We need to bring our troops home and put soldiers and tanks on our border.
One of the first things we hear from the opposition is that the president does not have the authority to use American troops on U. S. soil. Tell that to those who faced U.S. troops in Little Rock in 1957 when Eisenhower used U.S. troops to force the integration of Central High School.
The next thing they wail about is that it will cost too much to deploy troops to our border. I know with the enormous money the U. S. spends on silly projects that this excuse is pretty lame.
Hey! Here is idea! I know how you can shut the border down in 24 hours and it won't cost the U. S. government one single penny and it won't have to use even one American soldier.
The president can call for a Citizens Militia. Volunteers to patrol our border. I guarantee hundreds of thousands of people would grab their gun, pack their own peanut butter sandwiches, bring their tent and head to the border. There would be so much protection on our border that Wile I. Coyote couldn't get though without the proper paper work.
I get sick of everyone saying that Congress needs to tackle the issue of comprehensive immigration reform. Making such a claim is a smokescreen. It is an attempt to inveigle the American people and bring about amnesty. It is already against the law to invade our country illegally. Congress does NOT have to take up the issue. We need only to enforce the law. Put U.S. troops on the border or call for a citizen's militia.
