I am sure that you all have now heard that the U.S. is declaring that they killed Osama Bin Laden. I am not denying that this is a possibility, but be wise. We already have some major problems with the world wide report.
1. Where are the pictures of his dead body? – It is very important to show these as they (the media and government) have spent so much time showing him to us over the past two decades.
2. Why did we honor a Muslim tradition of burying the body within 24 hours? – If we are to believe that this “Muslim Terrorist” was the mastermind behind the 9-11 attacks, then why show him respect in a false religious view? Except, that it benefits our leaders in not having to show a dead body.
3. Why bury him at sea? – Obviously, they could not bury him via cremation as this is against the Muslim beliefs of burial. Furthermore, without cremation, it is the only way to be sure that the body is not examined by the public eye!
4. Why is the U.S. the only soldiers who went into Pakistan to orchestrate this mission? - Everywhere else in the world we cry foul when we are the only ones wanting to complete a mission. E.g. – most recently being Libya.
5. Did not the whole world claim that the attacks of 9-11 were perpetrated against all “humanity” as an act of terrorism? – Of course, the ‘Big Brother’ of the Global community is able to go into Iraq and snag Sadam Hussein from a rat hole while this “terrorist” who was #1 on the most wanted list lived in luxury in a mansion and the whole world did not have the ability to get him without the ‘good ole’ USA’.
6. Sadam Hussein’s trial and death was made public along with the death pictures afterward; and yet, this #1 most wanted gets a Muslim burial and remains out of site even at his death?
7. Why does the recognized powers of the world (according to CNN.com) all chime in and yet not one of them demand proof of this death? – Wasn’t it a few years ago that we were told that Osama Bin Laden died in the caves of Pakistan due to his degenerative (I believe) kidney disease. I always found that one intersting as he needed continual doctoring.

What's a matter Robb and Harness? Is it your conservatrolls weren't smart enough to take out the mastermind behind 9/11 and the liberals did or that a Democrat/Black president was the one who commissioned it.

1. Extensive video and photography from the entire raid were taken; the US gov't is deciding when/which/how best to release the footage in a way that does not compromise national security or potentially harm US operatives legally, given that they were operating technically illegally within the borders of a sovereign nation. Pakistan is so pissed right now and might attempt prosecution.
2. Because not burying a Muslim properly angers more Muslims and mints us ever more new enemies. It gives them the satisfaction of more outrage. Plus we do right by respecting our enemies; it's what makes us the good guys, remember?
3. Because burying him on land gives him a monument and a place of pilgrimmage.
4. Because we do special ops right.
5. This isn't a question.
6. Saddam surrendered. Osama did not.
7. World leaders have likely been privy to information the general public has not, and no one from al Queda is disputing the truth of this day. Also, see #1.
We honor Muslim traditions for the simple reason that we are part of America, the land of freedom and opportunity. One of those freedoms is religious freedom. And as stated in the Constitution, the government shall not endorse a specific religion. We respect all religions from all areas of the world.

What we got here is an Affirmative Action Commander-in-Chief that needed something more preposterous than his "certificate of live birth" forgery to feed his brainless fan club and keep the rest of America from hanging him for treason. But it aint over til it's over. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
I agree. The timing of this was perfect to get the public eye off his birth certificate. He announces his reelection also. What a good way to boost his numbers in the polls. Binny boy was said to have health problems for years. Especially renal disease requiring dialysis. I know people on dialysis being an EMT. It would be very hard to be on the run with end stage renal disease. You need dialysis at least 3 times a week. It also leaves some people very tired and weak after the treatment. If he really was on dialysis he would have had more than just nasal spray and allergy meds on his counter.

The Bin Laden tapes could have easily been made by the US government. There are differences in apperance and actions.
