Barak Obama - Pursueng His Father's Dreams

There has been much hoopla about the presidential hopeful and presumptive Democratic presidential candidate regarding the change he will bring to the nation if elected this November. In fact his whole campaign has been built upon the slogan, Change we can believe in!

But what exactly will be this change that seems to have the nation falling at his feet as if he is the coming messiah.

In his published book, Dreams From My Father, Obama clearly states that he wishes to fulfill his fathers dreams. But few people are aware of what those dreams were and the political consequences upon this nation if those dreams are realized.

The senior Obama, who died in an automobile accident in 1982 at the age of 46 was a dead-beat dad. At 18 he married his first wife Kezia in a tribal ceremony in Kenya. Five years later he abandoned his pregnant wife and her infant son and enrolled at the University of Hawaii where he met and married Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas and fathered Barak junior. He again abandoned his wife and young Barak at only 2-years old when he was granted an opportunity to attend Harvard. While at Harvard he met and married Ruth Nidesand. After finishing at Harvard he returned to Kenya. Ruth Nidesand followed him to Kenya, but he had already grown tired of her and they were soon divorced. The photo is Barak Obama at 10 years old with the one and only time he saw his father.

Barak, who idolizes his father fails to mention that the senior Obama was a committed Marxist and worked to bring about change that communist can believe in.

In 1965 (July) the senior Barak wrote an article for The East African Journal, titled Problems Facing Our Socialism.

In this article the intent of the senior Barak was clearly shown in the programs and agenda he endorsed and pursued.

Among these ideals of socialism which the father of the current Barak worked to bring about were:

1) Government regulated economy. He was strongly opposed to free enterprise which has been the economic base of Western societies. Barak Sr. stated, ". . . As long as we maintain free enterprise one cannot deny that some will accumulate more than others . . ."
2) Open support for the Soviet Union
3) Barak Sr. believed in the nationalization of white owned property and releasing it to the indigenous black population.
4) Increased taxes on the "rich." According to the senior Obama, "there is no limit to taxation . . . theoretically there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100 percent."
5) Government ownership of the farming industry.

As disturbing as the political agenda of Barak Obama’s father may have been, the association of Obama jr. with Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers (the notorious 70’s communist and terrorist) shows that Obama truly does follow the dreams of his father.
