Darwin (12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalist. After becoming eminent among scientists for his field work and inquiries into geology, he proposed and attempted to provide scientific evidence that all species of life have evolved over time from one or a few common ancestors through the process of natural selection.
The same theory is taught by noted "Christian" author and speaker Ken Ham (pictured below). Though Ham claims to reject the teachings of Darwin in favor of creation, he actually makes the very same claims of natural selection that Darwin makes.
Ham has gained popularity in recent years among those who support the New Age Movement’s teachings of Racial Reconciliation.
H. G. Wells provides us with the basis of Darwin’s teaching of Natural Selection in his book, The Outline of History. After reading this, compare it to the teachings of New Age Cultist, Ken Ham who attempts to use the same theory to support his claim that all races are related and of the same origin. In his book, One Blood, Ham attempts to project the notion that all races have a common origin and therefore are actually inter-related. There is no such thing as race in Ken Ham's theology and whites and blacks, for example, should freely marry with approval of the church.
Darwin's Theory on the Evolvement of Man
"It must be evident from what has already been explained that man, so widely spread and subjected therefore to great differences of climate, consuming very different food in different regions, attacked by different enemies, must always have been undergoing considerable local modifications and differentiation. Man, like every other species; wherever a body of men has been cut off, in islands or oceans or by deserts or mountains, from the rest of humanity, it must have begun very soon to develop special characteristics, specially adapted to the local conditions."
Ken Ham, writing in his book, One Blood, uses the same teaching of Darwin to support the claim that there is no such thing as race, only people groups. Ham claims all races have the same common origin and simply develop different "racial" characteristic due to the climate where they lived or the kind of food they ate. This teaching of Racial Reconciliation is based on Darwin's theory of Natural Selection.
Compare the teaching of Racial Reconciliation below with the teachings of Charles Darwin above.
Ham's teaching on the Evolvement of Man
"It is unlikely that each small group would carry the same broad range of skin colors as the original, larger group. So one group might have more "light" genes. The same thing would happen to other characteristics: nose shape, eye shape etc . . . As these groups migrated they encountered new and different climate zones . . . Let us look at the people who moved to cold areas with little sunlight. In those areas, the dark skinned members of any group would not be able to produce enough vitamin D, and would be less healthy and have fewer children . . . So, in time the light-skinned members would predominate. If several groups went to such an area, and if one group happened to be carrying few genes for lightness, this particular group could in time die out."
It is amazing how the theory of Darwin has been adopted by the New Age "Christian" church to support its doctrine of Racial Reconciliation.
The danger of men like Ken Ham is because he is right on so many issues that people become disarmed. They like so much of what he says that when he injects the Secular Humanist teaching on The Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man into his message they are easily entraped into the teachings of the One World Church. We were warned by the Apostle Paul that there will be false prophets (teachers) who will appear as Angels of Light.
I have written much more about this in my books, Racial Reconciliation and the Word of God and also The Last Church. The modern "Christian" church has actually abandoned the teachings of the Christian faith and is now teaching the same doctrine about race that all the false religions of the world teach. If you have children, you especially need these books to help give them Biblical instructions on the issue of race.
