Mason-Dixon Line

It was on this day in 1763 that Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon began the survey of what became known as the Mason-Dixon line. The original Mason-Dixon Line (or "Mason and Dixon's Line") is a demarcation line between four U.S. states, forming part of the borders of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia (then part of Virginia). It was surveyed between 1763 and 1767 by Mason and Dixon in the resolution of a border dispute between British colonies in Colonial America. Popular speech, especially since the Missouri compromise of 1820 (apparently the first official usage of the term "Mason's and Dixon's Line"), uses the Mason-Dixon line symbolically as a cultural boundary between the Northern United States and the Southern United States (Dixie).

The Missouri Compromise of 1820 created the political conditions which made the Mason-Dixon Line important to the history of slavery. It was during the Congressional debates leading up to the compromise that the term "Mason-Dixon line" was first used to designate the entire boundary between free states and slave states.

The states in dark red are almost always included in modern day definitions of the South, while those in medium red are usually included. The striped states are sometimes/occasionally considered Southern.

Nothing special happen yesterday as it was just another work day. We are getting ready for our annual Christmas Fellowship Conference on December 1 & 2 so I hope to see some of you here. This is our smaller event of the year, but it is one that everyone really enjoys and I know you will also. Of course the kids are always welcome. We have activities for the kids and plenty of space for them to run.
If we get everything ready to go in time, we will begin broadcasting our Sunday morning church services on Stormfront radio beginning December 2nd. We have gotten a lot of mail from people who are excited about this.

We are going to try and record a new edition of This is the Klan on Thursday afternoon and also a new radio show for the Global Minority Report.

Nothing new to report with The Rhino Times. Our attorney is on top of the situation and I will keep you posted. I did send him $3,000 dollars the other day, but the legal bill will go higher, so if you are angered by the betrayal of our leaders towards our people and say you want to do something about it then send some help to pay this legal bill. This is not the 1860‘s and the battle lines are different. Today they are often in the courtroom and we need financial warriors to win victories. Send your help to: Christian Concepts / P. O. Box 2222 / Harrison, AR 72601
