When Should We Begin Mourning the Death of George Tiller?

While so many people are telling us that we should mourn the death of George Tiller I posted that perhaps I will AFTER I get done mourning the death of the estimated 60,000 babies he butchered in his abortion mill.

So when will my mourning for George Tiller begin? That depends on how long we would consider an appropriate mourning period to be. This is important because we have been told that we have to mourn his death, but I can't do it until I get done mourning the death of those 60,000 babies. You know - first things first!

So if we would consider an appropriate mourning period to be 30 days (that seems too short), it means I can't start mourning the death of Tiller for at least 5,000 years. If an appropriate mourning period is 1 year, which seems more likely, then I can't mourn the death of Tiller the Killer for at least 60,000 years.

I do want to be sensitive to his death and have all this compassion that we are told we must have.

So, I guess I will begin mourning the death of Tiller the Killer somewhere between 5,000 and 60,000 years from now.

In other words - not in my lifetime!

Why don't you act like a Christian and ask God to forgive this man? Pray for your enemies remember? Just goes to show you are not a Christian!

I am surprised that such an insensitive statement comes from a Pastor who evidently has no compassion on the thousands of innocent babies that were killed by this man.
According to your reasoning, we should "forgive" everyone in prison and let them out of jail today. According to your thinking, no one would ever be punished, everyone would immediately be declared "forgiven."
I don't think you understand the words of Christ.
Beside Pastor Robb didn't say he wasn't going to mourn the death of Tiller. In fact he expressly said he WOULD mourn his death as soon as he gets done mourning the death of all those little babies. It appears like you don't care about the little babies and want to jump straight to mourning for Tiller.
Shame on you Pastor.

Pray for your brethren who have become your enemies.

Pray for the enemies of God after they died and did not repent? Perhaps the Baal priests who have a soft spot for sacrificing our sons and daughters in the fires of Molech and pretending to be Christian can be the devil's advocate on Judgment Day.

First of all ANON I am against abortion. Second, I never said people should not be punished for what they do. Did this man deserve to spend his life in prison? Yes. He murdered many innocent children. Did I want him dead? NO. If you do then you are thinking like the person who murdered him. Yet I can find it my heart to forgive both of the killers. Can you? Your heart is filled with hatred for people. Hatred taught to you by this cult leader Klansmen. This is why you cannot forgive. So shame on you. Remember "Let He who is without sin cast the first stone."

Also, what kind of a so-called "church" would let a monster like Killer - I mean Tiller be a member? The entire congregation ought to be horsewhipped!

It is a shame you think this way. This man was murdered and you celebrate? You are just like the killer. It just goes to show what a bunch of radical Christians you are.

Pastor Henry wants to attack us? Why? I already made it clear that I fully intend to mourn the death of George Tiller right after I get done mourning the death of those 60,000 babies he killed. I can't help it that I won't live long enough to get around to it. Pastor Henry is more concerned about crying over Tillers death then he is about those dead little babies. He said he is against abortion, but I don't hear any remorse about those dead babies. He is just unhappy that Monday morning Tiller wasn't in his abortion mill hacking away.
I have never suggested that Tiller should be killed. I simply said I don’t have time for mourning his death. I am too busy mourning the death of the innocent - something that Henry seems to think is unimportant.
I doubt that Henry is really a Pastor of any church unless it is one of those churches that is a fulfillment of Rev 3:15-16.

Remember "Let He who is without sin cast the first stone."

I don't think you're a "pastor" either. Otherwise you would know that John 8:7 is a scurrilous insertion/interpolation. Even if it was, the context is about a specific sin. Stoning was a common form of judgment for sin advocated by God's Law. Prison is not an option in God's Law for murdering babies. But why do pretenders litter this comment page, throwing their rocks at Christians who have never aborted anyone? My heart is filled with hatred for evil. "Ye that love the Lord, hate evil" Ps. 97:10.

You must be looking in the mirror and thinking of yourself. I am a Methodist minister. With a conregation of about 500. You probably got a following of what? Maybe 50? People listen to what I have to say. Unlike you guys I do not have to fight in the Supreme Court to get my message out.

Pastor Henry, I believe you have missed the point here. What, it seems to me, is really in contention is that there is such sympathy for an abortionist in the media. Which begs the question:Why are we to mourn a person that would perform third trimester abortions and yet there is no outcry over a Muslim assassinating Pvt Long in front of the Army recruiter in Little Rock? The slaying of Pvt William Long was an act of terrorism and of hate and yet where is the public outrage. An abortionist is a hero while a US soldier is not? The heart of the matter is this; while there are many clamoring in favor of the abortionist, there are few mourning the loss of innocent life. This I believe is what Pastor Robb was expressing.

Pastor Henry, I believe you have missed the point here. The real question is; why does our society deem it worthy to uphold an abortionist as a martyr and yet there is no outcry over the assassination of Pvt William Long in front of the Army recruiter in Little Rock? The slaying of Pvt Long was an act of terrorism and of hatred, yet few are concerned or seem to think it as tragic as the death of Tiller. The point is that while we are asked to mourn a man that performed third trimester abortions, few are mourning the loss of innocent life. Pastor Robb is one of the few willing to stand up for what he believes, he is willing to point our the inconsistencies in our society regardless of personal attacks. It is men such as this, men who risked much, who made this country great(whether you agree with them or not). It is men that have bent to the will of the tyrannical, immoral majority, that will damn us!

"You must be looking in the mirror and thinking of yourself."
You must be looking at the talmud.

"I am a Methodist minister."
Which, by today's standards is Baal worship.

"With a conregation of about 500. You probably got a following of what? Maybe 50?"
I would rather have 50 true believers, than 500 'blind following the blind'.

"People listen to what I have to say.'
And make them twice the child of hell than yourself.

"Unlike you guys I do not have to fight in the Supreme Court to get my message out."
We fight in the Divine Court of Justice to extinguish your polluted message of deception. Your days are numbered; you need to start thinking about repenting of your sinful treason against God.

Yeah Ok Mr. Ku Klux Klansman. I am needing repentance? You and your false gospel of hatred of Jews, Blacks, Mexicans and others is sinful. I do not nor have I ever worshipped Baal. So only you and your 50 followers are the ones going to Heaven. No you are not a cult.

"You and your false gospel of hatred"

No, it's the true gospel of love and hate. We love what God loves and we hate what God hates. God hates people like you. Read Proverbs 6:16-19. You qualify for at least 5 out of 7. "Shouldest thou help the ungodly [Tiller the baby killer] and love them [pro-choice] that hate the Lord? Therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord" II Chron. 19:2. Repent you wolf in sheep's clothing! If you have love in your heart for an abortionist and forgive his deeds, you are a Baal priest worshiping the god Molech. Why don't you read the Bible once in awhile. You might learn something. You're pathetic.

Pastor Henry said...

God hates sin not the sinner. That is why Jesus came into this world. Not to condemn but to save. John 3:14 God does not hate me or you. You hate so you think God hates. I am not teaching that Heaven is "whites only". I do not teach that Jews are evil. I do not teach that blacks are subhumans. In the words of Eric Clapton's song "before you 'cuse me take a look at yourself!"

Psalms 139:21 "Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies."

Mal 1:3 "And I hated Esau,"Rom 9:13 "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated."

Ps 26:5 "I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked."

Pr 11:10 "When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting."

The word "shouting" comes from the Hebrew word "Rinnah" and means joy and praise.

These four verses are example to show that hate is as much a part of God's character as love.

I am sure Pastor Henry means well, but evidently he has been mislead by the "leaven" of the Pharisees. When God destoryed Sodom, he brought his wrath not upon sin but upon people.

I have taken a considerable amount of time looking at Pastor Robb's web sites and I have never found any place where he says he hated any one. I don’t know why Pastor Henry keeps saying that?

Pastor Henry has shown more hatred to Pastor Robb then I have ever seen displayed in Pastor Robb’s writings or web site. Pastor Henry needs to do a little less judging and a little more soul searching.

Pastor Henry: If you have a congregation of 500 people then surely you have a website. I would like to visit it. Could you post it on this blog. Thank you!

Why so you can come to my church and burn a cross on our front lawn or firebomb it like you do to black churches?

Donald Young - Florida said...

"Firebomb" your church, what a lame statement to make. If the Klan wanted to firebomb, there are thousands of liberal, new age churches around just like the one you claim to pastor.
I would wager you do not pastor any church and you are afriad to admit it.
Where is your Christian courage? You have called Pastor Robb all kinds of names and talked about his "50" members and even though there is a lot of hatred for White Christians he still is not afriad to stand up for Christian priciples. He broadcast his Sunday morning service, he pastors a church which can actually be attended and he has several web sites. His picture is on the internet as well as pictures of his church.
You claim to pastor a large church and yet you have nothing.
You sir are a liar.

Jacob-Israel = the White race
Esau-Edom = the jews

Michelle, if you don't agree with what is being said on this thread, then why are you here making negative remarks? Didn't your parents ever teach you that if you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all?

On the Internet, alas, we all can lay claim to any title we like. I do hope that you are a real Rabbi.

For my part, I do not rejoice in any man's death. However, an evil-doer who dies may sometimes be prevented in his death from further murderous deeds.

For example, it may well have been good had someone murdered Joseph Stalin, before he went on to murder millions of more innocents.

As a Jew, would you not have wished for Adolph Hitler to have perished in the First World War?

The Bible tells us that God directed an arrow, shot into the blue, supernaturally to hit its mark -- a man God had marked for death. So God Himself slew this man.

You are mistaken to say that we "rejoice over" or "celebrate" this man's death -- at least I do not. However, I do rejoice every time an unborn child's life is saved.

I believe that God will allow one man (or nation) to do only so much evil in this world -- and no more. When a man's (or nation's) full measure of evil-doing is filled, his time will be up.

Dear Rabbi, I do wish you would consider the Holocaust of the unborn in proportion to the Jewish Holocaust. These are also human beings. If the Nazi's killed 6,000,000, my question to you is: how is this any worse than the hundreds of millions of unborn children around the world that have been legally aborted?

So to set the record straight, I do not condone any act of murder, including this doctor's. However, if his "profession" had been illegal -- as it should be -- this tragedy could never have happened.

Rabbi,

Well, I do want to thank you for taking the time to talk to a group of people you must really dislike. Constructive dialog is better than absolute silence.

I have tried several times to get Jews to talk to me on important issues, but they are very reluctant to do so. To be sure, I need to learn to understand them better if I am to succeed. However, they usually are very impatient with me.

Please consider the full nature of abortion and how heinous a crime it really is. If abortion on demand were not legal this murder of the abortionist would never have taken place.

While I do not condone the murder, I would like to have seen this doctor put into prison to live out the rest of his days. That way, he, at least, could have killed no more innocents.
