This is Out of Hand!

According to the American Family Association an Oklahoma City television station KOCO has reported that the Federal Reserve placed their iron heel on a small-town bank in Oklahoma forcing them to remove religious signs and symbols on display.

Federal Reserve examiners come every four years to make sure banks are complying with a long list of regulations. The examiners came to Payne County Bank last week.

And the team from Kansas City deemed a Bible verse of the day, crosses on the teller's counter and buttons that say "Merry Christmas, God With Us" were inappropriate. The Bible verse of the day on the bank's Internet site also had to be taken down, along with Thomas Kinkade paintings hanging in the bank's lobby.

The bank is quietly fighting for a clearer interpretation of the clause. Officials have contacted their two U.S. legislators, Rep. Frank Lucas and Sen. Jim Inhofe, and the Oklahoma Bankers Association to help.

As more and more non-whites come into our country there will be more and more people offended and more and more pressure to remove any symbols of our Christian heritage. Already the Christian teachings of our forefathers has been altered to fit the new one world agenda.

I know some of you reading this are going to be offended by my blatant white Christian centric view of the world - too bad - get over it!

Some of us will remain faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ to Love our God and Love our People and others will take the wide path that Jesus warned us about.

Intolerance can flow both ways, and the tide is cold on either shore.

Actually I am not offended at all. It is what I expect from those that hate our people, our faith and our culture.

The bank is quietly fighting... like lemmings. Wide is the path that leads to Christmas.

If you're not offended then why post this trivial matter? Commercial business like banks shouldn't be allow to display religious artifacts. Most people are Christian, pastor, it's that they don't conform to your ethnocentric view point.

pretty sure that Jesus, if he actually existed, was warning us about people like you!
But then I, like most rational people, don't believe in all that nonsense. But we don't need a made up 'son of God', to tell us people like you are bad news.

If you're not offended, then what exactly is "out of hand"? If it doesn't offend you, then why do you raise the issue? It's interesting that when one tries to engage you in an honest, civil, respectful discussion, you don't have time to debate, but when someone employs your shallow tactics or uses your own words on you, you quickly have something to say.

As far as the supposed hatred of your people, faith, and culture, would you support a bank that chose to display Islamic messages and paintings? According to your article, the bank was ordered to remove all religious signs and symbols. If the bank In Oklahoma should be allowed to promote Christianity, then should banks be allowed to carry Islamic themes if they so choose, or would this violate your sensibilities?

See how much nonsense HE is when you stand before Him in His glory! See how much your rationalizing will save your soul!"

The Demofags would say nothing if their were Islamic themes at a bank! Cmon. It is Christianity they hate because it it the TRUTH!

I love this! If Jesus is made up and God does not exist. They why are They such a threat to these people? Why can't we put up Christian symbols in certain places? If it is not real then why is it a threat to you? Santa is made up. Yet he is everywhere. Just goes to show that Christianity is the Truth. That is why the Devil is trying to suppress it.

First, I don't buy this at all. Second, this doesn't address the question. If you believe that Christian-themed banks should be allowed, then do you also support the idea of Islamic or Jewish-themed banks?

Yes

Really? So if the bank you're accustomed to using, or perhaps the public school in your community, suddenly bore heavy Islamic themes, you wouldn't have a problem with this? I had assumed that making such concessions within this Christian nation would be traitorous, but I guess I still don't get what white nationalism is all about. But okay, I commend you for your support of free expression. What about homosexuality and race-mixing though? Are these behaviors acceptable now, as well?
