Did You Know?

DID YOU KNOW?
As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U..S Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view ... It is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!
DID YOU KNOW?
As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door.
DID YOU KNOW?
As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall, right above where the Supreme Court Judges sit, a display of the Ten Commandments!
DID YOU KNOW?
There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington , D.C.
DID YOU KNOW?
James Madison, the fourth president, known as 'The Father of Our Constitution' made the Following statement: 'We have staked the whole of all our political Institutions upon the capacity of mankind for Self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to The Ten Commandments of God.'
DID YOU KNOW?
Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher, whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.
DID YOU KNOW?
Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established Orthodox churches in the colonies.
DID YOU KNOW?
Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of Interpreting the law would begin making law an oligarchy the rule of few over many. How then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 220 years in this Country is now suddenly wrong and Unconstitutional? Lets put it around the world and let the world see and remember what this great country was Built on The Holy Bible and belief in GOD!

Amen to that brother!

You obviously, didn't know that views change over time. Hence why these ideas become outdated. Oh because of science gives us more understanding of the universe, many of bright minds being white.

Did you know?

Nobody cares, that was then this is now.

Views may indeed change over time -- but Truth does not. We've had psychology now for well over 100 years -- but has human nature improved? Where is the "New Man" that Sigmund Freud and his theory of psychoanalysis promised?

Science and religion deal with different subject. Science deals with the physical universe; religion deals in matters of Spirit (both God and Man). There is no real conflict between the two.

Then how do explain evolution vs. creation?

It's simple - Evolution is a myth based on the religion of ignorance!

"It's simple - Evolution is a myth based on the religion of ignorance!"
And creation isn't?

Anonymous said...

YES YES YES! I agree that science does give a better understanding of our universe! Facts like energy and matter cannot create themselves. Something had to set all of this in motion. Could it be.......GOD?

God's foolishness is still greater than man's wisdom. That is in the bible. How is creationism based on ignorance? Creationism is based on the belief that a higher power created this world. Energy and matter cannot create themselves. Something had to set the whole process in motion!

"How is creationism based on ignorance?"
How were we created; what was the process that lead to our creation?
How do explain the existence of Cain's wife?

Tell me if the bible is false. Then how did Jesus know that people were going to hate his apostles because of Him? How did He know they were going to be put to death because of Him? If He were just a human there would be no possible way He could have known Christianity was going to spread like it did. How did He predict many things that were going to happen then and are happening now? Such as the destruction of the temple and the end times. Read Matthew 24. You say ideas become outdated. Well the teachings of Jesus have been around for over 2000 years.

More reason why his teachings are outdated: they longer reflect the world we live in.

Did you know???????

Big white man! Kool Aid. No religion. You read engrish?

The first amendment to the US Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" The two parts, known as the "establishment clause" and the "free exercise clause" respectively, form the textual basis for the Supreme Court's interpretations of the "separation of church and state" doctrine.

MMMMMM. Loss for words. Nigga out!

Christian said...

Dear Ghetto Anon.... "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" You liberals love to do that. Prohibit the free exercise of religion. Religious morals are what founded this country! Your freedom of speech, freedom of travel, ect. All these freedoms were given to us by Christians! Many Christians also pay for your welfare, medicaid, your handouts when you beg on the city streets, ect. Christians gave blacks their freedom but never will you hear a thank you.

It's to prevent inquisition-esque laws similar to those in Islamic countries. If we pay taxes, we have the right as for gov't aid.

Conservative idiots. So foolish you all are.

You're just a little stupid.

This country was founded by many Christian men, but that doesn't mean it's a Christian country. In fact, you love the constitution so much, but how come you don't even CONSIDER for a minute the First Amendment which entitles us all to freedom of religion?

And remember, this was a time when crazed, narrow-minded Creationists were extremely common, and the theory (as in not a "guess", but an idea which is backed by mountains of hard data) of evolution was thought as ridiculous.

I know, right?

""Conservative idiots. So foolish you all are."

Conservatives see the world half empty. Its so sad that they are so narrow minded.

"Lets lower taxes then have two unnecessary wars to raise our national debt"
- that right there sums up the whole GOP last decade

They hate abortion but support war. What a bunch of hypocrites. Both lead to death and if they're such christians wouldn't they be against it all?

Nobody's used the word dummy yet.

Those who call themselves "conservatives" today are not conservatives of the old school. True conservatives are against entangling alliances with foreign nations, as was our first President. Bush's mid-East war was unconstitutional.

God is the greatest scientist ever. He created it!

This country was founded on limited government! The government owes you NOTHING. The American taxpayer owes you NOTHING. Rights are something given to us from God! So what did He tell Adam? You will work. Read Genesis.

"God is the greatest scientist ever. He created it!"

Here we go.

Sir, what the man whom you responded to meant was that while science and scientific laws are backed by data and evidence (incredible amounts of it), in addition to pure logic, the idea of God creating everything has no support but a person's faith. While I'm not saying God doesn't exist, I am saying that the idea of faith is a separate idea from well-tested ideas backed by hard data and evidence.

Rights are given by NO ONE, NOT EVEN GOD has that right. We are BORN with rights as the Constitution says. Tell the IRS that you owe nothing.
