A Few Words from Ann Coulter

With an African-American running for president this year, there has been a lot of chatter about the "Bradley effect," allowing the media to wail about institutional racism in America. Named after Tom Bradley, who lost his election for California governor in 1982 despite a substantial lead in the polls, the Bradley effect says that black candidates will poll much stronger than the actual election results. First of all, if true, this is the opposite of racism: It is fear of being accused of racism. For most Americans, there is nothing more terrifying than the prospect of being called a racist. It's scarier than flood or famine, terrorist attacks or flesh-eating bacteria. To some, it's even scarier than "food insecurity."

Political correctness has taught people to lie to pollsters rather than be forced to explain why they're not voting for the African-American. This is how two typical voters might answer a pollster's question: "Whom do you support for president?" Average Obama voter: "Obama." (Name of average Obama voter: "Mickey Mouse.") Average McCain voter: "I'm voting for McCain, but I swear it's just about the issues. It's not because Obama's black. If Barack Obama were a little more moderate -- hey, I'd vote for Colin Powell. But my convictions force me to vote for the candidate who just happens to be white. Say, do you know where I can get Patti LaBelle tickets?"

It Just Sounds Nasty!

If you tried calling the office today (Monday) you didn't get an answer. There just wasn't time to spend on the phone, even though I always enjoy talking to people and answering their questions. I was just too busy and couldn't have the distraction. I don't ignore the phone very often, but today was just one of those days.

On Wednesday, National Geographic will be broadcasting a program about the Ku Klux Klan. You will have to check your local listings for air time.

We usually get fairly good stories but occasionally they will chop us. But even when they do that it still brings in more support, membership and allows us to grow and reach more people. Hopefully they will treat us somewhat fair. We'll see!

This coming Saturday is the White Christian Heritage Festival in Pulaski, Tennessee. I have an issue of The Victory Report going to the printer next week.

The election is only 22 days away.

President Barack Obama. It just sounds nasty!

BOOOOOORING!

Tuesday's debate between John McCain and Borack Obama was about as exciting as a 100 yard dash between two snails.

They sounded incredibly the same. They both love America, hate greed and will give the people everything their heart demands.

The constitution is clear that it is to "promote the general welfare" of the people, however today most people think that the government is to "provide for the general welfare of the people. So those who run for office will promise everybody everything they want (notice I said want and not need) because they know this is where the votes are and the more give-away programs that are created the more votes they are likely to get.

Like all societies in the world today and from the beginning of time, we are made up of those who produce and those who only consume. We can call them the givers and the takers.
Both McCain and Obama are appealing to the takers, those who want the government to act like a giant nanny and protect them from all harm - including their stupidity.

So we had this boring debate that never once addressed the out of control illegal alien problem.
I know someone is going to be offended because I make mention of illegal aliens being a problem.
I hear them now whimpering like a spineless moron, "God don't make no problems."

Well they weren't a problem until we allowed them to flood across our borders like rats leaving s sinking ship.

I would like to have heard one of them say, "The day I take office, I will put troops on our border and close the border effectively and immediately."

But I don't think that is going to happen.

And then there were all those retarded troglodytes who are "undecided." If these people are so stupid that they still haven't decided who they are going to vote for, then they shouldn't be allowed to vote. Any one that stupid shouldn't be allowed to participate in a decision of who is going to rule over the rest of us for the next four years.

Today we had a reporter from the London Sun newspaper. We took pictures of their visit and I may get some put up on my blog on Thursday or Friday. I going to call it a night. It's late and I have to get up early and then Thursday night drive to Little Rock.
If you didn't see yesterday's blog, go to it now and click on the link to hear an interview I did a few weeks ago.

An Interview

I did a radio interview a few weeks ago that broadcasts both live and on the internet. The station is located on the campus of Emory & Henry College in Emory, Virginia. I am posting an email I received from Aris Winger who conducted the interview. I thought you might enjoy it.

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Mr. Robb has asked us to contact him when our interview with him was up on our website. He may find it here:

http://www.dcsouth.com/kkk

We express our deep gratitude to have had him on our show. He demonstrated many qualities that are not indicative of the stereotype that is associated with the group. He was well spoken, straightforward, and deeply honest. It was an honor to have had an honest conversation about these issues with an important individual like he is. Unfortunately, it is important to note that I am a Black man writing this. It is also important to note that my co-host, also a Black man, was even more impressed that I was. We look forward to speaking to Mr. Robb again in the future. There are still many discussion to have and many roads to travel before the issues of race can be resolved in a constructive manner. If there is anyway we may be of help to you, please let us know.

With Respect,

Dr. Aris Winger

Thoughts on the Bailout Bill - 2 of 2

(You may want to read the Part 1 - the last blog entry - before reading Part 2)

From my earlier studies of the constitution I was thinking the same thing. But I really wasn’t sure if I was right or not until I heard several reporters mention this also. So I immediately thought I need to check this out and see if my original thinking and that of the reporters I was hearing was correct.

So that is what I did. According to the United States Constitution, Article 1: Section 7 “All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.”

In other words, the senate has usurped power that the constitution did not give. This bill with the raising of revenue must originate with the HOUSE and not the senate. The bill passed by the senate is unconstitutional and has no weight in law. The House of Representatives should not have even considered the bill and refuse to vote on it. It has no legal standing to be brought in to the House for a vote. The bailout bill was to originate in the HOUSE and then go before the senate. Not the other way around.

I don’t suspect anyone in the U.S. House of Representatives or the U. S. Senate is going to pay any attention to me - or to the constitution for that matter. But I thought it was something you ought to know.

One last thing. This bill was 450 pages long. Do we honestly think that anyone actually read this bill in the short few hours they were given from between the time it was placed on their desk and the senate vote.

We have been told that the reason we are in this financial mortgage crunch is because of all the bad housing loans that have been given to people who simply did not have the ability to meet the mortgage payments.

The reason these loans were made is because of fear of lawsuit from civil rights attorneys who were claiming that lending institutions were not providing loans to minorities. It has been reported that Barack Obama, as a community organizer was active in this regard.

The State of Illinois was providing 1% mortgage loans to illegal aliens so they could become a productive member of the community and not be a burden on society. Go figure!

Now this monster has come back upon us.

It reminds me of the final scene in Mary Shelley's classic story of Frankenstein when the monster went out of control, brought destruction upon the city and townspeople. People lay dead in his wake and now he was coming after the man who created him.

At that moment a friend arrives and witnesses the chaos and death, he rushes to Dr. Frankenstein and exclaims "Dr. Frankenstein, what happened?"

Dr. Frankenstein answers "A monster, a monster has done this."

"The monster was crazy, it has destroyed my home and has killed innocent people."

His friend asks, "A monster? where did it come from? . . . Dr. Frankenstein. where did the monster come from?"

The doctor - looking confused said, "I . . . I created it. I made it myself."

This financial monster was created - not by the fat cat bankers - it was not created by Wall Street. It was created by the culture of political correctness.

Lending institutions were forced to give loans (student loans, housing loads etc. ) to hundreds of thousands of minorities who simply could not make the payments, The loans were granted because of threats from the Justice Department that institutions were in violation of civil right laws and were discriminating against minorities.

Jesse Jackson and Barak Obama and many others were organizing boycotts if lending institutions did not grant minority loans.

The monster has come home!

Thoughts on the Bailout Bill - Part 1 of 2

I will be the first to admit that I am not an expert in economics. My discipline of study was Theology, having earned my degrees at the Rocky Mountain Kingdom Bible Institute. But the chances are that the overwhelming majority of people reading this blog aren’t economic experts either. So for that reason we just have to listen to the “experts” and determine who is most knowledgeable about the issues we are facing on this economic bailout we all hear about.

We also have to admit that the vast majority of the reporters who are speaking about the doom that will fall on our nation if this economic bailout is not approved really don’t know what they are talking about either. After all, like you and I, they don't have economic degrees either. The discipline of economics was not their area of study. Their specialty is journalism - not economics.

For that matter, most of our representatives in the House of Representatives or in the Senate are not students of economics. Their specialty will be varied. Most are lawyers, some are doctors, businessmen, etc. I am sure that some have a degree in economics but certainly not the majority.

For that reason I can’t really say whether this economic bailout is needed or not. But the point I am making is that those in congress don’t really know either. They could be listening to Chicken Little as he proclaims, in all sincerity, "The sky is falling!"

I am not saying the sky isn't falling. It may very well be. The point I am making is that the vast majority of Americans, news reporters and politicians just have to rely on the expertise of others.

If you have been watching the news you will notice that there are many and I mean many economists who say that this economic package is not needed and the shrill of economic doom is without foundation. That isn't to say there won't be some cash flow, some credit problems etc. But they are saying the cure is worse that the sickness. It is kicking the proverbial can down the road for our children to face. One person made the comparison saying that our parents sacrificed so their children could have a better life. But now, through this economic bailout bill, we are asking our children to sacrifice so we can have a better life.

Who are we to believe?

Here are some things to think about. Whenever someone attempts to pressure you into accepting their special deal, it is usually time to walk away. This is so basic that it seems almost foolish to even mention it. We all know that the fast talking salesman is not to be trusted. But that is exactly what we have been told the last few days. The government has a deal and we better take it! Quick!

A few days ago the congress wisely rejected the bailout bill that they were suppose to accept without thinking, without questioning and without timely consideration.

On Wednesday the senate passed a bailout bill that is now going to go to the House of Representative. But there is a problem with this bill. It’s unconstitutional!

Even though I have not heard any news commentator actually use the word unconstitutional, that is exactly what it is. A couple - who evidently are smarter than those in the senate, usually just point out that all bills dealing with the raising of revenue is to originate in the House of Representatives. It has been pointed out that this bill and its approval by the senate first and then the House is backwards. Indeed it is this very fact that it is backward from what is suppose to be done according to the constitution makes it unconstitutional!

I am sure there are some in the Senate and the House who has pointed this out, but evidently they are being ignored. (continued)

OK! I know you're busy so I do appreciate you taking the time to read my blog today. I'll try to finish up tomorrow.

Don't forget the White Christian Heritage Festival in Pulaski, Tennessee on October 18th. Check out http://www.whitechristianheritagefestival.org/ for more information.

A New Bill of Rights

The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA.

'We the sensible people of the United States,in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore somesemblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights.'

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes. (This one is my pet peeve...get an education and go to work....don't expect everyone else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH! If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you do not, who will?
