He Still Doesn't Get It!

Check out this latest picture taken on Veterans Day 11/11/09 at the Ceremony in Arlington National Cemetery . I don't know whether the National Anthem is being played, or the Flag is going by, or WHAT, but EVERYBODY in the picture is either saluting or has his hand over the HEART. All except ONE. Guess who?

Cmon Pastor Robb! The answer is obvious! Why would a Kenyan salute the American flag or have his hand over his heart during the National Anthem?

Obama has done this all through his campaign. He's always and very openly disrespected the American flag. There is something very seriously wrong about this, as he is not a Jehovah's Witness (or whatever that group is that forbids saluting the flag). He does not salute the flag because he is a Muslim. He has admitted on television that his Islam is his religion.

Anonymous at 2:15 pm,
What a spin! The picture is clear, showing a STANDING not walking Obama with his hands to his side while everyone else is showing respect.
Who cares if the location was mistaken. All the people shown are showing respect except this poor excuse for a commander-in-Chief.

And your point is, sir if you are a minister why does it even matter what country your from or how you respect your country. A true man of God only respects/fears the Lord. So what if he doesn't, you didn't say anything about the boy who would say the Pledge of Allegiance, because "the gays can't get married". When people try to mix God and the politics of man you get a big mess.

So what are you Robb a minister or a BS'er?

Sounds like people take every little thing serious, and if a person makes a mistake he must be a failure. I'm sure you never made a mistake before. I guess half of america makes the mistake too because i've seen at sport events and others that half the people don't even stay quiet during the anthem.

If you went to the link provided, you would know that the song being played at this time was "Hail to the Chief", not the National Anthem. Thus, the people in this picture are actually saluting Obama and for him to do so would be a narcissistic salute to himself.

OK, you might actually get me on this one, because I am not really 100% sure of the comment I am going to make. But here it goes. I think to myself, Wow, another super spin, Hail to the Chief? If they were saluting him why are they not looking at him and since when do you place your hand over your heart at his appearance.

The hand over the heart is a sign of reverence and enduring love. If the song is Hail to the Chief, is the offering of this reverence and signs of enduring love to our beloved leader something that he demands. That actually sounds worse than a slip in protocol.

Why are we even having a discussion over whether President Obama salutes a flag or not. This is foolish. Why did no one protest when Bush lied to a whole country about the reason we were being sent to Iraq. Why did no one protest the passage of the Homeland security act and its circumvention of our constitutional rights. Why do you bother yourselves with idle arguements when there are so many important things we can be overcomming together?

Your not suppose to put your hand over your heart during the national anthem.....just the pledge of allegiance..... learned that in kindergarden.....
