Thanks Ted!

Edward Kennedy has been diagnosed with brain cancer and has been given less than one year to live. Throughout the television and radio airwaves we have heard numerous statements regarding the prayers being offered on his behalf.

I don't believe it is dignified nor Christian to pray for the misfortune of others - even your enemies. And therefore even though Kennedy has done more harm to this nation than any living person today I certainly cannot bring myself to pray for any harm to come upon the man.

However, I think I would be scripturally mistaken to pray for his recovery. Kennedy was the major senate voice which brought about the passage of the Hart-Celler Immigration Act which destroy the national origins provisions in our immigration laws. The Hart-Celler Immigration Act was passed with a vote of 76 to 18 and became law on July 1, 1965 as the The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

Ted Kennedy was the one single person responsible for pushing this act through the senate and America is suffering under massive non-White immigration as a result.

Kennedy spoke on the senate floor and said that fears of massive immigration from Asia, Africa and South America was unfounded and were fear tactics being used by opponents of the legislation.

When this law went into effect we were a nation with a 92% white population. Today (thanks Ted!) we are a nation that has a non-white majority under the age of 8 and will be a national non-white majority in less that 30 years.

Those who hate white people don't care. Unfortunately through public education and New Age Churches who have betrayed their heritage, a great number of our young people have learned to hate their own people.

Very good post. But, I'm from Martha's Vineyard, and many of us islanders feel that Ted Kennedy has yet to answer for Mary Jo Kopechne's death.
