Rick Warren - the mega church pastor who gave the opening prayer at Barack Obama's inauguration has now spoken to a group of Muslins. This is the man who claims to be a born-again Christian, but his works defy his words. At a recent conference addressing thousands of Muslins he stated that Muslins and Christians must work together to solve world problems. If Warren wants to address Muslims and speak about world peace, he certainly has that prerogative. But I find his claims of being a Christian rather disturbing.
Christians believe Jesus Christ alone is the path toward peace and the solution to world problems. I don't care how many people Warren teams up with there is no salvation for the world or for man outside of the incarnate Christ.
I will be speaking about this and other related issues in this weeks sermon, IS JESUS CHRIST STILL KING? You can listen to this live broadcast at 11 am central time on Sunday. Go to www.christianrevivalcenter.net.
